Preserving World Heritage with CyArk on #GoogleArts
Cyark and Google Arts & Culture are launching "Open Heritage," the largest 3D collection of heritage data, now available to browse and download at g.co/openheritage.
The “Open Heritage” features data collected from 27 heritage sites from 18 countries, including Chichen Itza in Mexico, Al Azem Palace in Syria, the Brandenburg Gate in Germany and Waitangi in New Zealand.
More about Cyark:
CyArk was founded in 2003 to ensure heritage sites are available to future generations, while making them uniquely accessible today. They use new technologies to create a free, 3D online library of the world's cultural heritage sites before they are lost to natural disasters, destroyed by human aggression or ravaged by the passage of time.
